Human Expansion
150 people answered 100 questions about their own lives. Three came back thriving. What the other 147 reveal about measuring personal growth honestly.
Over the last 20 days, 150 people sat down and answered 100 questions about their own lives.
Not a lightweight quiz.
Not a lead magnet with four sliders and a colorful result.
One hundred questions, in two languages, examining their work, money, relationships, health, emotional states, sense of meaning—and the distance between the life they are living and the life they can see.
Three came back Thriving.
I want to be careful with that number, because statistics can create more heat than light when they are stripped of context.
So let me give you the whole picture.
Of the 150 people:
That means 113 people—just over 75%—came back Dreaming or Collapsed.
These are not necessarily people who lack intelligence, ambition or capability.
Many run businesses, lead teams, support families and carry significant responsibilities. They are competent. Many can also see exactly what is happening in their lives.
That is what makes the result worth examining.
Beneath the five primary states sit 13 Human Expansion archetypes.
One word appears across 89 of the 150 results:
Dreamer.
The largest single archetype—46 people, nearly one-third of everyone assessed—was the Contracted Dreamer.
A Contracted Dreamer can see the greater possibility.
Sometimes with extraordinary clarity.
They can see the business, the relationship, the health, the freedom or the version of themselves that feels available to them.
But they are not consistently bringing that possibility into reality.
Not because they are lazy.
Not because they are unintelligent.
And often, not because they lack a plan.
Their vision has expanded, but something within their identity, emotional patterns or capacity to act has remained contracted.
That gives us a distinction worth remembering:
Dreaming is awareness of possibility without the agency to consistently make it real.
If this were purely an information problem, many of these people would have solved it already.
Most could tell you what they should do.
Many already have a plan.
Some could probably give you a better plan than the one they are following.
The gap is not simply between the person and the knowledge.
It is between knowing and consistently translating that knowledge into reality.
That gap is often shaped by the Human Operating System beneath the strategy:
Values that were never consciously chosen.
An identity built around who the person had to become in the past.
A conflict between the part that wants the future and the part trying to protect them from it.
An emotional pattern repeatedly overriding conscious intention.
A personal ceiling that has been practiced for so long it is now described as personality.
Greater understanding can help someone recognize these patterns.
But recognition alone does not necessarily transform them.
That is why intelligent people can understand their limitations perfectly—and continue repeating them for years.
This is not a random population study.
These 150 people chose to complete the Thrive Index, so the results should not be interpreted as proof that 75% of the world is Dreaming or Collapsed.
They tell us something narrower, but still important, about the people who were drawn to examine the distance between their potential and their present lives.
There is another caution.
The assessment marks some placements as softer than others, and the boundary between Dreaming and Collapsed is currently the softest.
So I would treat that particular division as directional rather than absolute.
What remains clear is that 113 of the 150 results fell within those two states—and 89 contained a Dreamer archetype.
I would rather show you the edges of the data than offer you a cleaner number that cannot withstand examination.
The Human Expansion Sprint began on Monday, and tonight is Day Two.
This is not five days of accumulating more information.
It is five days of working with the layers underneath our existing results—and leaving each day with something real, personal and usable.
When you join the Sprint, you will receive access to the Thrive Index so you can discover where you currently stand on the Human Expansion Map, identify your dominant archetype and see more clearly what may be separating your present life from the one you know is possible.
On Monday, participants expanded their awareness and established their Human Expansion baseline.
Tonight, we expand identity.
We will examine the stories and patterns beneath our present results and use Reframe My Life to begin rewriting the meaning that has been organizing them.
Over the remaining days, we will expand future, capacity and impact—then explore how artificial intelligence can amplify the expanded human into the world.
The Sprint is free and livestreamed worldwide.
There are two sessions each day so people can attend from different parts of the world:
7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Taipei/Bali time—GMT+8.
You can still join us on Day Two. Monday’s session is not a prerequisite.

If you discover this after the Sprint—or you are unable to attend live—you can still take the Thrive Index and receive your own Human Expansion assessment at:
Because seeing the life that could be yours is not the same as becoming the person capable of creating it.
Where in your life can you clearly see the greater possibility—but have not yet been able to make it real?
Expand yourself. Expand your world. Expand others.
