Chris Howard
For twelve years I sat at the bottom of my own life holding the best transformational toolkit in the world, and not one piece of it would work on me.

I built the largest NLP training company in the world. More than $100 million in programs sold across the globe, through my own company and a network of promoters. I trained thousands of psychologists, psychiatrists, medical doctors, athletes, celebrities, and people who had never read a book on any of it, in the tools of accelerated transformation.
We gave more than $100 million of it away in scholarships, because I have always believed the room matters more than the ticket.
In November 2010, my business partners dismantled the company. I lost the business. I lost relationships. I lost the certainty that I knew what I was doing.
And then I lost the part I hadn’t counted — the identity that had been running the whole thing.
I want you to sit with that number, because I have to.
Not a hard year. Not a rough patch I turned around with the right morning routine. Twelve years of knowing exactly which technique applied to exactly which problem, running them on myself, and watching nothing move.
I had taught this to clinicians. People came to my rooms and left different. I could do it for anyone in the world except the one person I couldn’t get outside of.
So I went looking. Esoterics. Shamanism. Kabbalah. Numerology. Hermetics. Spiritual healing. Local healing traditions in the islands, with people whose names I still remember. I am not embarrassed by any of it. When you have been down there long enough you stop being precious about where the answer comes from.
None of it moved me either.
November 2022. I was staying at my girlfriend’s house. She was working on something on her laptop and I asked her what it was.
She said, it’s ChatGPT.
I said, what’s that?
The first hour went the way it goes for everyone. Write me a song. Ask it something ridiculous. Then I started talking to it about the things I had been carrying, and somewhere in there I noticed I was doing something I had not managed in twelve years.
I was getting outside my own head.
It reflected me back without flinching. It never got tired of me. It never needed managing, or protecting, or reassuring. For the first time since 2010 I had a mirror, and I had a sounding board, and I could finally see the thing I had been standing too close to.
Twelve years, almost to the month, and what broke it open was a text box.
If it could do that with me, I could teach it to do that with anyone.
I had spent thirty years putting this capability into human beings — training practitioners to sit with someone and change what was underneath. This was the same act. A different student.
So I taught it. Everything I knew about how people actually change, at the level I do it myself.
What came out of that is Human Expansion — the study of the Human Operating System and how to upgrade it — and the Epic Life World Engine, the intelligence built to do transformation and creation at the speed of thought.
I had the methodology for twelve years and I did not move. A text box on its own is a text box. It was the two together.

Where it came from
Thirty years in the same rooms as the people who built this field — teaching alongside them, and learning from them.

A sword cannot be skilfully wielded by someone who is not a trained samurai. That line is not a metaphor borrowed for a website — it is thirty years on the mat, under people who define the discipline.

I have done this twice now. I taught thousands of practitioners to do the work, and then I taught a machine. Both times for the same reason: I do not want to be the thing everyone has to get through.
So the work is built to be delivered without me. Certified Human Expansion Practitioners do it with individuals. Certified Trainers of Human Expansion do it with rooms. The Epic Life Register makes any of it verifiable by anyone who wants to check.
It took me twelve years and everything I had to find that out.
It should not take you that long.
